The guys on the shooting location for my latest TV commercial were raving on it, so I decided to check out the site my self and I liked what I saw!!:p

Tagged.com is a social networking site. It was co-founded by Harvard graduates and entrepreneurs Greg Tseng and Johann Schleier-Smith. Tagged.com was launched in October 2004 by Tagged Inc. and is privately owned. Tagged Inc. has raised $7 million in funding from Silicon Valley venture capital firm Mayfield Fund. The site initially targeted US high school students but has since opened to all users worldwide age 13 and older. The company reached profitability in early 2007.The site allows its users to build and customize profiles, send messages, leave comments, post bulletins, customize status, browse photos, watch videos, play games, give gifts, give tags, chat and make friends. Early innovations include the use of third-party widgets and YouTube as a part of the site’s graphical interface. Other partnerships include Slide, RockYou, PhotoBucket, Meebo], Razzand Jangl. As of July 2008, the site claims to have 70 million registered users. In late 2008, Tagged raised $5 million venture debt from Horizon Technology Finance and Leader Ventures.

In December 2008, Social Networking Watch reported that Tagged.com ranked 4th, 9th, and 19th by Hitwise, Neilsen, and Comscore respectively.

Tagged provides a feature whereby users are invited to provide it with their email username and password, and it will then check their email address books to see if their existing friends are already on Tagged. MY NEW TV COMMERCIAL!!

Last Sunday, February 22 2009, I got a text message from my agency asking me to come to this casting for a TV ad for a cellular connection provider with the shooting date of 24th of February 2009. I thought that this must have been just a plan to find a back-up talent for the TVC since there was no way this could happen!!Usually the shooting usually takes place at 1-2 weeks after the casting.

But I went to the casting anyway since the location, Kemang, was not so far from my house and my agency said that there were not too many people coming.So I went there and met Ivan, one of my "casting buddies"..Dunt know why I frequently meet him on casting sites..

I was so sure that he was going to get the part since he was better looking than me and more "eurasian".The casting text did say that TVC needed eurasian/caucasian looks.

However, in the evening, I got a call from the production house (PH) that I was one of the nominated talents for the ad, they asked me to wait 'til 5 PM the next day for the confirmation.

The next day, I waited 'til 3 but there was no buzz from the PH so I decided to forget about it and went to another casting..Just when I was in the middle of waiting for the casting (Where I met IVAN AGAIN!!), I got a call from the PH and they said that I GOT the part and asked me to go there immediately.."

So, I went there like a speeding bullet and went for fitting..During the "session" I asked when the shooting date was and they said "24th February!!"..I still couldn't believe it, so I stayed awake the whole night, all too excited and worried that I wouldn't wake up at the right time(3 AM the next day)..

Right after my bath at 03.00 AM(!), I went to this location in Depok, a RICE FIELD, no less and arrived on 04.00 AM!!The shooting began on 7 AM..I was "HUNG TO DRY" for 4 hrs under the EXTREMELY HOT sun that I got sunburned..I acted as one of the president's (SBY) aide in the TVC..The story board tells a story when SBY can't communicate properly to Obama thru his mobile phone due to bad connection.So I as the smart aide abruptly took the mobile phone from him and gave a new one (With a different provider) which would allow him to better communicate with Obama...Interesting ad, huh?:p Wonder when this would happen in REAL life!!Haha..

The other version was about this cellular provider that only concentrates on giving low rates to consumers without paying attention towards the quality of the reception.I acted as one of the staffs to this arrogant boss of this provider..The good news is that I got two lines here while the other staff only got 1..So i Guess I was lucky..

I think the ad would come out either end of month or the beginning of next month..Oh well, can't wait to see it!!How bout you, friends??

MICKEY ROURKE HAD TOO MUCH PLASTIC SURGERY??

Mickey Rourke is back on the news lately with his widely acclaimed acting in The Wrestler. However, people are questioning how much he has changed over the years since his heyday in 1990s..He was rumored to have cheek and chin implants in the past as well as other surgical procedures and obviosly they have taken their tolls on the once very handsome sex symbol.

These are some of the list of plastic surgeries that he might have had
. Facelift - You can almost make out the scars in front of his ears. Also, notice how his sideburns are no longer present in the 2005 photo. This can occur when poorly planned facelifts are performed in men.
2. Upper eyelid lifts (blepharoplasty) - His upper lids are more open in the 2005 photo when compared with the younger photo.
3. Hair transplant - This procedure appears to have been performed between 2005 and 2008. Notice how his sideburns have reappeared and his hairline has been moved forward. The "wispy" hair of his new hairline is not as thick as in the young photo. This is how hair transplanted in micrografts (one to two hairs at a time) often appears. This is in contrast to old-fashioned hair plugs, which make the hair look like a toy doll's patchy hair.


These days people are more concerned with improving their appearances. This is the result of watching too much television and reading fashion magazines. These two media almost always feature beautiful people on their covers and pages.When you see the faces of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie almost everyday you start to compare yourself to them and wish that you could look more like these two drop-dead gorgeous people!!

The top five most popular invasive procedures reported by AACS members for 2007 were liposuction, sclerotherapy, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation, and hair transplantation and restoration.

Personally, I think that people should ONLY have plastic surgery under the following conditions:

1). Corrective surgery after accidents.For instance, burnt facial skin.

2). There is an unusually abnormal looking feature in a person's face or body such as hairy neck or an extreme lack of chin.But they MUST be considerably HAPPIER after the results.If they still remain unhappy after the operation it means that the problem doesn't lie in their appearances, but only in their mental picture.Some people have very LOW SELF-ESTEEM that they feel unattractive , when sometimes it's only in their minds..

3). If you are involved in show biz, whether in movies, music or modelling since the industry usually seeks the most perfect faces and body to hire.But if you have REAL talents, then you don't have to look perfect!!Barbra Streisand, who's famous for her "prominent" nose is no Marilyn Monroe, but still she has achieved enormous success as an actress, singer and producer.Whoopie Golberg is definitely no Giselle Bundchen, but who can doubt her talents in comedy??Oprah Winfrey never feels secure about her looks and her-on-and-off weight problem yet she still heads the list of the richest woman in show biz!!

So, folks, do you think you have enough cause for going under the knive??

HARRY'S STUDIO

I LOVE TANTE LENNY AND OOM HARRY!:p..These two(husband and wive) are a very nice couple..

They own a photo studio in Kebun Jeruk that usually does photo sessions for calendars..I was their model for no less than 7 CALENDAR SHOTS!!The studio was like a second home to me..The place and the people are so familiar!!Here are some of the results..One of the photo sessions was with none other than the famously beautiful and talented actress most notable for her role as "JASMINE" in the RTCI-produced sinetron with the same name : NABILA SYAKIEB!!

"MAHARDHIKA ARTICLE"

When I was participating as one of the contestants in "MODEL INDONESIA 2004", during one of the sessions, I was called by "MAHARDHIKA" tabloid, a new one owned by the son of the late 1st president of Indonesia(SOEKARNO), GURUH SOEKARNO PUTRA..

Apparently they wanted to do an article on me as one of the "new" actors in Indonesian soaps (sinetrons)..I appeared in the same page as my fellow actor/model - Raka Hafiz..Raka and I were often involved in the same project..Apart from this magazine article, we were in the same TV commercial for "Mal Kelapa gading 3" and were photographed for a calendar at Harry's studios!!

Btw, I think the magazine is no longer in circulation today..What a shame!!

"MATRIX"

During the photo session for Behind the Screen, we were also asked to "relive" some scenes from another blockbuster, "The Matrix" played by Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss...So, here are the pics...

What do YOU think?Do I look better as "Keanu Reeves" in the 'Matrix" or as "Richard gere" in "Pretty Woman"?:P

Personally, I think I look younger in the "Matrix" session rather than in "Pretty Woman" one...

But, to be honest, I'm not much of a "Matrix" fan though!!I think that it was just an extremely boring, "non-sensical" waste of time...Wonder why it made it so big in the theaters....Sorry, Keanu lovers :D

Hmmm...Would LOVE to do something like this again in the future...It was SO GODDAMN EXCITING HAHAHA!!!

MY ARTICLE IN BEHIND THE SCREEN MAGAZINE

"PRETTY WOMAN" is my most fave romantic comedy of all time..Needless to say, I jumped with excitement when I was asked to play "Edward", Richard Gere's character in the movie although only in a magazine feature article."BEHIND THE SCREEN" is a magazine targeted at production houses and advertsing agencies.It was their second issue and I appeared with 3 other models: Yana, Ferry and Tasha to feature in the then new mag.The movie tells the story of Edward Lewis, a successful businessman (But failed in his marriage life)played by Richard Gere who hired a prostitute(Played by Julia Roberts) to accompany him originally for just one night, but unexpectedly fell in love with her..The movie was very "LIBRA" (who ADORES beautiful things, and I'm certainly one!!:P) - goodlooking actors/actresses, fancy clothes, luxurious hotels n restaurants, hot cars, expensive jewelries, romantic plot and EXCELLENT sound track!!Below are the pics from the magazine as well as the pics and trailer from the movie..This is my most fave scene - Edward dressed Vivian in Cerutti gown, rent her a Tiffany necklace, and took her in a limo and then a private jet to watch a very famous opera "La Traviatta" in San Fransisco!!Perfect dreamdate, isn't it??I hope u'll like the movie as much as I do!!

Guys, Oscar 2009 will soon air on ABC on February 22, 2009...The nominated actors/actresses and the rest of the world are waiting with baited breathes to find out who the lucky winners will be.The list below are the list of predicted Oscar 2009 winners in major categories according to MovieFone:

1). Best Actor

Should Win: Mickey Rourke ('The Wrestler')

Will Win: Sean Penn ('Milk')

Dark Horse: Frank Langella ('Frost/Nixon')

Buzz: Everybody, especially the Academy, loves a comeback. And how sweet would it be if former heartthrob (and Golden Globe winner) Mickey Rourke picked up his first Oscar at age 56 for playing an over-the-hill wrestling star? Still, there's something in us that doesn't quite believe fairy tales can happen in real life -- so in a race that's nearly dead even, today we'll give the sliiiightest of edges to perpetual Oscar darling and SAG winner Sean Penn, for his vivid portrayal of gay rights activist Harvey Milk.

2). Best Actress

Should Win: Meryl Streep ('Doubt')

Will Win: Kate Winslet ('The Reader')

Dark Horse: Anne Hathaway ('Rachel Getting Married')

Buzz: Hathaway was the early pick, getting wins from the National Board of Review and Broadcast Critics, and we'd be fools to doubt Streep's chances. But the easy favorite now is Winslet, who collected a pair of wins at the Golden Globes (with great humility), has the tireless campaigning of Harvey Weinstein behind her AND gets sympathy votes for her previous 0-5 Oscar record.

3). Best Director

Should Win: Danny Boyle ('Slumdog Millionaire')

Will Win: Danny Boyle

Dark Horse: Gus Van Sant ('Milk')

Buzz: With 'The Reader' gaining speed, director Stephen Daldry (now 3/3 in Oscar nominations/films directed) and Van Sant both stand an outside chance. But it'd take a whole lot of luck (and maybe even a Phone-a-Friend) to beat beloved Brit Danny Boyle, long respected for cult faves like 'Trainspotting' and '28 Days Later,' and finally the bride (so to speak).

4). Best Picture

Should Win: 'Slumdog Millionaire'

Will Win: 'Slumdog Millionaire'

Dark Horse: 'Milk' or 'The Reader'

Buzz: Danny Boyle's indie hit has all the momentum, having picked up a slew of top prizes (DGA, WGA, BAFTA, other organizations known by their initials) since winning four Golden Globes. But should the movie suffer any backlash, Oscar voters may opt for the similarly lauded 'Milk' -- or be swayed by Oscar-marketing guru Harvey Weinstein's push to turn 'The Reader' into a last-minute spoiler.

5). Best Supporting Actress

Should Win: Penelope Cruz ('Vicky Cristina Barcelona')

Will Win: Penelope Cruz

Dark Horse: Marisa Tomei ('The Wrestler')

Buzz: Traditionally the most unpredictable major category (just see Tomei's shocking win for 'My Cousin Vinny'), you can at least boil this battle down to a neck-and-neck race between Cruz and Viola Davis ('Doubt'). The latter steals the sort of single extended scene Oscar's been known to honor, but Cruz has a highly touted Best Actress-nominated role (2006's 'Volver') still fresh in voters' minds.

6). Best Supporting Actor

Should Win: Heath Ledger ('The Dark Knight')

Will Win: Heath Ledger

Dark Horse: Heath Ledger

Buzz: Apparently, if you were to go out on a limb and bet a dollar that Heath Ledger will win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, you would win 2 cents. Because, duh, the odds are 50:1 in his favor! That's how confident Vegas is that Ledger will win a posthumous Oscar for 'The Dark Knight' -- and how confident you should be too. We're sure Downey, Shannon, Brolin and Hoffman are practicing their "we were happy just to be nominated" faces right now.

TWILIGHT SEQUEL: NEW MOON TO RELEASE ON NOV 2009!!

Ladies, there's good news coming your way end of this year,: Edward Cullen is finally going to mesmerize you once again with his cool, magnetic charm in Twilight sequel: New Moon!!

And so, the lion fell in love with the lamb. But as $70.5 million worth of moviegoers watched the closing scenes of "Twilight" this past weekend, one thought unavoidably filled their love-struck minds: Where do Edward, Bella and all the other undead denizens of Forks go from here?

As Twilighters are all too happy to point out, author Stephenie Meyer has already penned three smash sequels to her intimate ode to human-immortal romance. The first, "New Moon," got the green light for production this past weekend, less than 24 hours after "Twilight" began breaking box-office records. The best-selling sequel tells a decidedly darker story that has Bella receiving a nasty paper cut, getting attacked by one of her potential in-laws and becoming an adrenaline junkie while an in-hiding Edward teeters on the edge of suicide. "It's got werewolves, it's got visual effects that turn people into werewolves, it's got motorcycle stunts, you go to Italy. It's probably twice as much as this [to film]," "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke explained when we asked her about the sequel just before "Twilight" opened.

Although the novel greatly reduces Edward's presence, Robert Pattinson insists that "New Moon" is the installment he loves best. "I'm looking forward to doing the re-emergence ... at the end of the second book, when he's killing himself," the star said when we spoke with him last week. "I think that'd be kind of spectacular seeing that. And the second book is my favorite book, so I'm quite looking forward to doing it."

And as the final shot in "Twilight" promises, hell hath no fury like a woman who just lost her man. Luckily, the producers of the "Twilight" films were smart enough to sign Rachelle Lefevre, Edi Gathegi and their soon-to-be-far-more-important co-star Taylor Lautner for both "New Moon" and the potential third film "Eclipse."

"We're so ready to do it," Lefevre said, assuring us that Don Cheadle won't be replacing them any time soon. "If we get a chance to do two and three, we'll be back for two and three."

Crossing his fingers, Edi Gathegi said he's looking forward to shooting Laurent's travels to Alaska and half-hearted attempts to become a vegetarian. "I've got to clear my schedule no matter what's on the books, because it was just so much fun to work on this film."

The good news for fans is that studio Summit Entertainment recently took the official step of acquiring all of Meyer's "Twilight" books and has rehired screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg. Pattinson even told the Seattle Times that Rosenberg's "New Moon" script is already done.

But today, the actor most likely to be doing the dance of joy is the fast-rising, fan-kissing, underwear-signing Lautner. After establishing in the first film that he has a thing for Bella and the nerve to stare down Edward, he's already busy practicing his lines for Jacob Black's expanded role as a lover, fighter and werewolf in the next flicks.

"The quote I love the most is Jacob's quote, 'Does my half being naked bother you?' That quote just cracks me up," he laughed when we met him for the first time, on the "Twilight" set. "Because, you know, that's when he's shirtless, not wearing a top — we'll have to wait to see what he looks like."

Lautner plans to begin bulking up now that "New Moon" has received the official green light, and is also hoping to work some of his real-life martial-arts background into Jacob's upcoming battles. "They found a YouTube video of me on ESPN when I was 11, and they were just freaking out and were watching it over and over again. ... I said that it'd be cool if Jacob did some of that in the fight scenes," he told us in August. "[Hardwicke] said, 'Yeah, that would be cool.' "

After this weekend, it appears that fiercely loyal "Twilight" fans may similarly have some cool scenes to look forward to in the not-so-far-away future.

Summit Entertainment has tentatively slated Nov. 20, 2009, as the release date for New Moon, the Twilight sequel, which means any director who signs on to replace Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke has to be in Vancouver by Dec. 15 to begin 12 weeks of preproduction before a mid-March start date. Reports have speculated that Hardwicke was fired for being difficult on set, but sources close to her suggest Summit's aggressive production schedule turned her off. "She'd love to do the sequel if she could do it better than Twilight,” says one. “It ­became clear that Summit didn’t have those same priorities."

Indeed, at press time the second movie appeared to have ­little more than a rough first-draft working script. As Summit’s production president Erik Feig said during Twilight’s ­record-busting first weekend, “There is that first...script. All the finesse that turns a screenplay into a movie hasn’t ­happened yet.” Two weeks later, Summit is saying it’s happy with screenwriter ­Melissa Rosenberg’s progress.

Another of Hardwicke’s primary concerns was that hunky vampire Edward remains MIA throughout New Moon’s middle portion. In her own opening-weekend interview, she uttered, “You have to get the chemistry as strong ­between Jacob and Bella as it was between Bella and Edward. You also have to do ­some­thing with that arc: She’s in love with somebody, he disappears, she falls in love with someone else, and the first guy comes back. Movies like Pearl Harbor have tried it. It absolutely didn’t work.”

With or without Hardwicke, Summit ­faces other snags. Two sources say that the studio doesn’t want to rehire baby-faced Taylor Lautner (pictured) as Jacob, though Lautner’s agent has apparently reached out to the ­imaging company behind The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in an attempt to demonstrate to Summit how a digitally bulked-up Lautner could work. (Summit says it won’t make a decision until a new filmmaker is on board.) There’s also the matter of finding a cast of Native American actors to play Jacob’s werewolf clan — a difficult challenge Hardwicke was also faced with before ­settling on Lautner, who isn’t completely ­Native American. And with a slightly increased budget of $50 million — much of which is ­assumed will go to leads asking for heftier paydays, location shoots in Italy, and ramped-up F/X — Summit will have to scrimp somewhere.

So what director would want to take on such a big headache? Well, at press time, an offer was out to Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass), who put Summit on the map years ago when its foreign sales operation made tons of cash off of his first film, American Pie. (One source says Weitz has already had conversations with below-the-line crew for New Moon.) “We are in a recession,” ­reminds one Hollywood insider. “It’s a hit franchise. Whoever steps into it is guaranteed a $100 million gross. Everyone wants this movie.” Adds an exec at another studio, “You’d have to have a very high standard for art, hate the movie business, and hate ­money to walk off this sequel.”

Well, let's just pray that the movie will be finished as soon as possible without further distraction, huh??
