He's Just Not That Into You is a self-improvement book written by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo that was published in 2004. It was a New York Times bestseller and was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

The book was inspired by an episode of Sex and the City titled "Pick-A-Little, Talk-A-Little," in which Miranda asks Carrie's boyfriend, Jack Berger, to analyze the post-date behavior of a potential love interest. Because the man declined Miranda's invitation to come up to her apartment after the date, stating that he has an early meeting, Berger concludes, "He's just not that into you," adding, "When a guy's really into you, he's coming upstairs, meeting or no meeting."

A film based on the book was released by Warner Bros. on February 6, 2009.Produced by Flower Films, filming was completed at the end of 2007. On June 26, 2008, the release date had been moved from October 24, 2008 to February 6, 2009. The film boasts an all star cast of: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Anniston, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connely, Justin Long and Scarlett Johansson.

Since the age of 5, Gigi (Ginnifer Goodwin) has been told that when men act like jerks, it means they like her.

Years later, Gigi is now struggling to find true love while shifting through men who are simply not interested. After her latest date, Conor (Kevin Connolly), has failed to call her, Gigi visits a bar he said he frequented in order to see him. There, she is approached by Alex (Justin Long), a friend of Conor's who works at the bar. Gigi claims she is waiting for Connor, since she needs to return a dentist's pen to him. However, Alex quickly sees through her lie, claiming Connor's dentist is his father (not the name written on the pen). Gigi admits that Connor is not expecting her, and explains her confusion over his lack of response. Alex tells her that Connor isn't interested, and then takes it upon himself to explain the "signs" to Gigi.

Meanwhile, Connor, having just left his date with Gigi, calls his girlfriend Anna (Scarlett Johansson). Anna is shopping in the supermarket and runs into Ben (Bradley Cooper). He tells her to go before him in line, citing an indecision about gum as the reason. Anna tells Connor she has to go, and, as she is checking out, is awarded a cooler as a 1000th visitor gift. The two exchange numbers outside when Ben says he knows someone who can help Anna with her singing career. After a few moments of hesitation, Ben admits that he is married. The two part, and Ben walks over to a car and gets in. Neil (Ben Affleck) then asks Ben what that was about.

When Neil returns home, he is greeted by his girlfriend of seven years, Beth (Jennifer Aniston). She announces that her younger sister is getting married. Neil, who is in the kitchen making tea, tells Beth that he doesn't believe in marriage. Beth, who desperately wants to get married to Neil, doesn't understand why he dislikes the idea so much.

Ben meets his wife Janine (Jennifer Connelly) back at their new townhouse, currently being renovated.

Gigi, excited about the tips Alex gave her, eagerly shares them with her coworkers, Janine and Beth. Gigi explains that if he's interested, he'll make the first move, and if he's not, he won't. When she claims that there are exceptions, but that the majority are not, she unintentionally implies that Neil will never marry Beth, since they have been together for 7 years and they haven't married yet.

Beth confronts Neil when she goes home, saying she can't deal with it anymore. When Neil continues to refuse to get married, the two break up.

The movie teaches us all a lot of lessons in the "dating game"..The most important message in the movie is: LOVE JUST CAN'T BE FORCED...If a guy likes you enuff, he's going to call you again and ask for another date, if he doesn't, that means that he's just that into you, maybe you're just not his type, or maybe there's no chemistry between both of you..Or simply, he has a better choice in mind.

You can't FORCE someone to do things that you like him to do..If he loves you enuff, he would do it for you on his own will at his own time..

Most importantly: DO NOT EVER GIVE UP ON LOVE!! Your true love IS out there!You just have to wait for the perfect time to find them!!

NEW IN TOWN

Lucy Hill (Renee Zellweger) is a high achiever shooting to become a Vice President. To show the President that she has the ability, she takes an assignment to restructure one of their small manufacturing plants in Minnesota. From the high life in Miami to the bitter cold, snow, and icy roads, Lucy must endure these hardships to succeed. Lucy is treated as an outsider when she arrives, and the locals give her a week before she leaves. Lucy is a fighter and wants to win. She meets Ted Mitchell (Harry Connick, Jr.) who is the union representative. At first, she has some conflicts with the workers, but soon they begin to accept her. The new product line is a bust, and she is ordered to close the plant and fire everyone. However, she has a better idea of making money for the company and saving everybody's job.

This is a typical feel-good drama comedy that Hollywood always produced for the past 20 years or so. There is absolutely nothing new here. The story is soo predictable. A cold-hearted female executive who used to care only for her career ambitions went to a small town, met a cynical local guy (Who despised city folks)and fell in love with both the small town and the small town guy..

Renee IS getting older and she has lost a lot of her charms diplayed in "Down with Love" and "Bridget Jones Diary". Harry Connick also has lost his looks...He probably should stick to his singing career(If he still has one:P).

However, some people would still love to see this cliched Hollywood comedy drama.Renee provides moderate acting in the movie..It's not that bad, there is a happy ending that everyone loves..

DRAGON BALL EVOLUTION

A young warrior (Justin Chatwin) must protect Earth from the Evil Lord Piccolo (James Marsters) by preventing seven mystical orbs from falling into Piccolo's hands.

Based on The King Piccolo Saga, Dragonball, also known as the Piccolo Daimaoh Saga (Demon Lord Piccolo Saga) is the penultimate saga from the anime Dragon Ball. It occurs after the Tien Shinhan Saga and precedes the Piccolo Junior Saga. It includes the battles between Goku and King Piccolo's sons, Goku's first encounter with the Samurai warrior, Yajirobe, Goku's quest to find the Holy Water, his final battle with young King Piccolo, and the birth of Piccolo Junior. Goku met with his oriental love interest, Chi Chi (Jamie Chung).

It's very pleasing to see the familiar face of Chow Yun Fat, who takes the role of Master Roshi in the movie. He hasn't lost his fatherly, wiseman charm and in fact, I would say his performance saves the movie.

The flick receives mostly negative reviews from fans, who expect a mega-spectacular version of the anime series but leave home disappointed by the rather-poorly directed movie. Dragaon Ball Evolution is directed by Asian Director James Wong. Perhaps the producers think that a huge Asian cult like Dragon Ball should be directed by an Asian director. Apparently, they are wrong. The movie fails to give that extra special touch that will make the viewers amazed like Steven Spielberg movies do..What would happen if Mr. Spielberg directed this amazing Asian saga??

The lead actor, Justin Chatwin has little charm and bears little resemblance to the original anime character. The outfits suck and the martial art is another leddown.

SPECTACULAR IN ASIA??

Dragonball Evolution opened to $10.1 million dollars in Asia this weekend, premiering at No.1 in China, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore.

At No. 4, Fox’s “Dragonball Evolution” premiered in eight Asian markets before its April 8 domestic opening. Director James Wong’s live-action adaptation of the famous Japanese cartoon series created by Akira Toriyama co-stars Justin Chatwin and Chow Yun-fat and drew $10.1 million from 2,110 screens.

Following heavy prerelease promotion in the region, it premiered at No. 1 in China, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore. The China opening tally, $3.4 million from 855 locales, was Fox’s fourth-highest weekend opening in the market. “Dragonball’s” No. 2 Japan bow produced $3.3 million from 540 screens.

PUSH

I just saw PUSH the movie this afternoon with a friend of mine..It's a sci-fi thriller starring Chris Evans(Of the Fantastic Four fame), Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle set in Hong Kong..

A group of young American ex-pats with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities are hiding from a clandestine U.S. government agency. They must utilize their different talents and band together for a final job enabling them to escape the agency forever.

In 1945, Hitler and his Nazis were using experiments on people who were born with special abilities to create an ultra-powerful army. However, the war end put a stop to this. What it didn't stop was other countries finding out and setting up their own branches, or divisions. Watchers, for example, are able to see the future in quick flashes and scenes. Movers can move objects and people with their minds. Pushers, on the other hand, can "push" people into believing that certain things are or aren't true (like hypnosis). Bleeders emit high-pitched sonic screams that make ears bleed, while Stitches can disassemble or reassemble any scar tissue. Sniffs can take any object and get a history of where it's been in relation to its owner, while Wipers can erase any amount of a persons memory. There are also Shifters; people who make objects appear to be something else (like illusionists, only more realistic), and Shadows, people whose ability is basically to block the effectiveness of other clairvoyants (the Sniffers, mainly).

Nick Gant(Chris Evans)is just a regular "LOSER" who has a little bit of movers abilty.He was just a regular street-gambler before he met Cassie (Dakota Fanning), a second-generation watcher.The little girl tells him about a case they need to find that could bring the "DIVISION" down and net them about six million dollars. In the course of the project, they met with Nick's old flame, Kira (Camilla Belle), who apparently was the victim of the Division's experiment, but successfully made an escape and therefore become their fugitive.

The movie has its ups n downs, sometimes dragging, but it has its "adrenaline" moments..Dakota fanning gave a very good performance in the movie while Chris Evans provided his good looks..

For those of you who want some light entertainment, you won't lose much if you see the movie..It's pretty entertaining alhought it's not an A class action movie..

CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC

I saw Confessions of a shopaholic and I had quite a marvellous time smiling and laughing my way throughout the movie..It's funny, sometimes sentimental, full of beautiful shots, branded clothes and it has a light story line..

Confessions of a Shopaholic is a 2009 film adaptation of the Shopaholic series of novels by Sophie Kinsella. It is directed by P. J. Hogan and stars Isla Fisher as the central character, Rebecca Bloomwood, as well as John Goodman and Joan Cusack as her parents. Krysten Ritter plays Rebecca's best friend Suze and Hugh Dancy is the editor in chief Luke Brandon.] John Lithgow plays Edgar West, Kristin Scott Thomas portrays Alette Naylor, chief editor and founder of the fashion magazine Alette. Leslie Bibb plays the editor of Alette, Alicia Billington, Lynn Redgrave plays the doyenne of a publishing empire and Julie Hagerty appears as Haley.

Rebecca Bloomwood is a sweet and charming New York City girl who has a tiny, little problem that is rapidly turning into a big problem: she's hopelessly addicted to shopping and drowning in a sea of debt. While Rebecca has dreams of working for a top fashion magazine, she can't quite get her foot in the door -- that is, until she snags a job as an advice columnist for a new financial magazine published by the same company. Overnight, her column becomes hugely popular, turning her into an overnight celebrity - The Girl in the Green Scarf and gradually but surely she fell in love with her boss...But when her compulsive shopping and growing debt issues threaten to destroy her love life and derail her career, she struggles to keep it all from spiraling out of control--and is ultimately forced to reevaluate what's really important in life.

On its opening weekend without Presidents' Day, the film opened #4 behind Taken, He's Just Not That Into You, and Friday the 13th grossing $15,054,000 in 2,507 theaters with an $6,005 average.] As of March 3, 2009 the film grossed $34,152,335 at the domestic box office and $51,817,530 at the box office worldwide.

Confessions of a Shopaholic has received generally negative reviews. As of March 6, 2009 the film holds an average score of 38, based on 30 reviews on the Web Site Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics. On Rotten Tomatoes the film holds a rating of 23%, based on 113 reviews with a consensus "This middling romantic comedy underutilizes a talented cast and delivers muddled messages on materialism and conspicuous consumption."

Todd McCarthy of Variety said, "this adaptation of the first two of Sophie Kinsella's massively popular novels strains far too hard for comedy that seldom erupts with full force and inevitably betrays a free-spending mindset that now feels gone with the wind". Her complimented Fisher's performance, saying that "her irrepressible comic personality overcomes a number of the film's impediments".

Regardless of what these critics said, I had a good time watching it!!All the casts are superb and gave a splendid performance..Romance is there, excellent shots and some hillarious scenes (See the trailer where Rebecca dances with his boss using a fan!!)

I would recommend you to see the movie if you love branded goods and light comedy movie genre!!

PERSONAL EFFECTS

Aston Kutcher. Michelle Pfeiffer.Two of my most favourite actors in Hollywood put together in a supposedly romantic drama directed by David Hollander. I wonder why the last two movies of Miss Pfeiffer paired her with much younger stars (Michelle had the same role in her latest flick:"I could Never Be Your Woman). Could this be an effort to to compensate for her aging looks so that hey had to make the movie more interesting in terms of frames??.

I had big expectations when I saw the cover of he DVD..I thought it was one of the light-romantic dramas that these two, drop-dead gorgeous stars usually starred in. But as the movie continues, I got more and more bored and wished for the movie to end soon..The movie was so bland, the atmosphere so gloomy..Even the soundtrack sucks!!To make it worse, there's no happy ending to this sad movie (Andrew Wakefield, Aston's character got killed in the hand of Linda's (Michelle Pfeiffer) retarded brother!!..The performance of the ever-gloomy Kathy Bates surely didn't do much to the "commercialism" of the movie.. No wonder it went straight to the DVD store!!

I am starting to wonder whether the popularity of these two, once-major, class A- movie stars has taken a deep plunge in Hollywood. Why in the world did they even bother to accept these roles??

According some sources, the project would be based on Rick Moody’s story “Mansion on the Hill,” which is part of his collection “Demonology.”

“The Mansion on the Hill” follows the adventures of narrator Andrew Wakefield as he tries to come to terms with his sister’s death - she was killed in a car accident just before her wedding. Coincidentally finding himself employed at a ritzy wedding-planning business, Andrew alternates memories of the past with clunky product-speak descriptions of his job.

But on the plot of the movie offered on the official site of Voltage Films there is a romantic story between the star couple. So I guess it should be a free adaptation of the original relate.

The project was in gestation for at least three years, in 2004, David Hollander said he hoped to film “Effects” in Pittsburgh, but after he said even though it would be cheaper to make the movie locally due to currency fluctuations, the film’s cast and financiers demanded it film on the West Coast, Vancouver. David Hollander, director and screenwriter of the movie, is the writer of the CBS series’ The Guardian.

TWILIGHT SEQUEL: NEW MOON TO RELEASE ON NOV 2009!!

Ladies, there's good news coming your way end of this year,: Edward Cullen is finally going to mesmerize you once again with his cool, magnetic charm in Twilight sequel: New Moon!!

And so, the lion fell in love with the lamb. But as $70.5 million worth of moviegoers watched the closing scenes of "Twilight" this past weekend, one thought unavoidably filled their love-struck minds: Where do Edward, Bella and all the other undead denizens of Forks go from here?

As Twilighters are all too happy to point out, author Stephenie Meyer has already penned three smash sequels to her intimate ode to human-immortal romance. The first, "New Moon," got the green light for production this past weekend, less than 24 hours after "Twilight" began breaking box-office records. The best-selling sequel tells a decidedly darker story that has Bella receiving a nasty paper cut, getting attacked by one of her potential in-laws and becoming an adrenaline junkie while an in-hiding Edward teeters on the edge of suicide. "It's got werewolves, it's got visual effects that turn people into werewolves, it's got motorcycle stunts, you go to Italy. It's probably twice as much as this [to film]," "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke explained when we asked her about the sequel just before "Twilight" opened.

Although the novel greatly reduces Edward's presence, Robert Pattinson insists that "New Moon" is the installment he loves best. "I'm looking forward to doing the re-emergence ... at the end of the second book, when he's killing himself," the star said when we spoke with him last week. "I think that'd be kind of spectacular seeing that. And the second book is my favorite book, so I'm quite looking forward to doing it."

And as the final shot in "Twilight" promises, hell hath no fury like a woman who just lost her man. Luckily, the producers of the "Twilight" films were smart enough to sign Rachelle Lefevre, Edi Gathegi and their soon-to-be-far-more-important co-star Taylor Lautner for both "New Moon" and the potential third film "Eclipse."

"We're so ready to do it," Lefevre said, assuring us that Don Cheadle won't be replacing them any time soon. "If we get a chance to do two and three, we'll be back for two and three."

Crossing his fingers, Edi Gathegi said he's looking forward to shooting Laurent's travels to Alaska and half-hearted attempts to become a vegetarian. "I've got to clear my schedule no matter what's on the books, because it was just so much fun to work on this film."

The good news for fans is that studio Summit Entertainment recently took the official step of acquiring all of Meyer's "Twilight" books and has rehired screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg. Pattinson even told the Seattle Times that Rosenberg's "New Moon" script is already done.

But today, the actor most likely to be doing the dance of joy is the fast-rising, fan-kissing, underwear-signing Lautner. After establishing in the first film that he has a thing for Bella and the nerve to stare down Edward, he's already busy practicing his lines for Jacob Black's expanded role as a lover, fighter and werewolf in the next flicks.

"The quote I love the most is Jacob's quote, 'Does my half being naked bother you?' That quote just cracks me up," he laughed when we met him for the first time, on the "Twilight" set. "Because, you know, that's when he's shirtless, not wearing a top — we'll have to wait to see what he looks like."

Lautner plans to begin bulking up now that "New Moon" has received the official green light, and is also hoping to work some of his real-life martial-arts background into Jacob's upcoming battles. "They found a YouTube video of me on ESPN when I was 11, and they were just freaking out and were watching it over and over again. ... I said that it'd be cool if Jacob did some of that in the fight scenes," he told us in August. "[Hardwicke] said, 'Yeah, that would be cool.' "

After this weekend, it appears that fiercely loyal "Twilight" fans may similarly have some cool scenes to look forward to in the not-so-far-away future.

Summit Entertainment has tentatively slated Nov. 20, 2009, as the release date for New Moon, the Twilight sequel, which means any director who signs on to replace Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke has to be in Vancouver by Dec. 15 to begin 12 weeks of preproduction before a mid-March start date. Reports have speculated that Hardwicke was fired for being difficult on set, but sources close to her suggest Summit's aggressive production schedule turned her off. "She'd love to do the sequel if she could do it better than Twilight,” says one. “It ­became clear that Summit didn’t have those same priorities."

Indeed, at press time the second movie appeared to have ­little more than a rough first-draft working script. As Summit’s production president Erik Feig said during Twilight’s ­record-busting first weekend, “There is that first...script. All the finesse that turns a screenplay into a movie hasn’t ­happened yet.” Two weeks later, Summit is saying it’s happy with screenwriter ­Melissa Rosenberg’s progress.

Another of Hardwicke’s primary concerns was that hunky vampire Edward remains MIA throughout New Moon’s middle portion. In her own opening-weekend interview, she uttered, “You have to get the chemistry as strong ­between Jacob and Bella as it was between Bella and Edward. You also have to do ­some­thing with that arc: She’s in love with somebody, he disappears, she falls in love with someone else, and the first guy comes back. Movies like Pearl Harbor have tried it. It absolutely didn’t work.”

With or without Hardwicke, Summit ­faces other snags. Two sources say that the studio doesn’t want to rehire baby-faced Taylor Lautner (pictured) as Jacob, though Lautner’s agent has apparently reached out to the ­imaging company behind The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in an attempt to demonstrate to Summit how a digitally bulked-up Lautner could work. (Summit says it won’t make a decision until a new filmmaker is on board.) There’s also the matter of finding a cast of Native American actors to play Jacob’s werewolf clan — a difficult challenge Hardwicke was also faced with before ­settling on Lautner, who isn’t completely ­Native American. And with a slightly increased budget of $50 million — much of which is ­assumed will go to leads asking for heftier paydays, location shoots in Italy, and ramped-up F/X — Summit will have to scrimp somewhere.

So what director would want to take on such a big headache? Well, at press time, an offer was out to Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass), who put Summit on the map years ago when its foreign sales operation made tons of cash off of his first film, American Pie. (One source says Weitz has already had conversations with below-the-line crew for New Moon.) “We are in a recession,” ­reminds one Hollywood insider. “It’s a hit franchise. Whoever steps into it is guaranteed a $100 million gross. Everyone wants this movie.” Adds an exec at another studio, “You’d have to have a very high standard for art, hate the movie business, and hate ­money to walk off this sequel.”

Well, let's just pray that the movie will be finished as soon as possible without further distraction, huh??

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE-INDIA'S LATEST AND (BEST?) MOVIE SENSATION!!

Slumdog Millionaire is a 2008 British drama film directed by Danny Boyle, co-directed by Loveleen Tandan,[2] and written by Simon Beaufoy. It is an adaptation of the Boeke Prize-winning and Commonwealth Writers' Prize-nominated novel Q and A (2005) by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup.The movie was shot in India.

Slumdog Millionaire tells the story of a young man from the slums of Mumbai who participated in the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (Kaun Banega Crorepati, mentioned in the Hindi version) and exceeds people's expectations, arousing the suspicions of the game show host and of law enforcement officials.

After screenings at the Telluride Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival, Slumdog Millionaire initially had a limited North American release on 12 November 2008 by Fox Searchlight Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures, to critical acclaim and awards success, and later had a nationwide release in the United States on 23 January 2009[3] and in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2009. It premiered in Mumbai on 22 January 2009.[4]

Slumdog Millionaire earned five Critics' Choice Awards, four Golden Globes and seven BAFTA Awards, including Best Film, and has been nominated for ten Academy Awards!! VALKYRIE- TOM CRUISE'S NEW MOVIE!!

Hey guys, watch the trailer of Tom Cruise's new movie!Tom is one of my all-time fave actors...He has appeared in several blockbusters such as War of the World, Top Gun, Minority Reports, Rain Man and Interview with a Vampire.He's now back with a major breakthrough movie, VALKYRIE!!Can't wait to see it..Apparently it's taking the world by storm, grossing $US 120 million worldwide so far..

Valkyrie is a 2008 historical thriller film set in Nazi Germany during World War II, written by Christopher McQuarrie, directed by Bryan Singer, and starring Tom Cruise. The film depicts the July 20, 1944 plot by German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler and to use the Operation Valkyrie national emergency plan to take control of the country. The United Artists film marked a re-teaming of Singer and frequent collaborator McQuarrie, who had also made World War II home movies together as children. When Singer sought a smaller project after completing Superman Returns in 2006, he learned of McQuarrie's script, which the screenwriter had begun after visiting Berlin and learning of the plot in 2002.

Cruise appears as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, one of the key plotters. Bill Nighy, Eddie Izzard, Terence Stamp and Tom Wilkinson also feature. Cruise's casting caused controversy among German politicians and members of von Stauffenberg's family because of the actor's practice of Scientology, which is considered a totalitarian organization in the country. German newspapers and filmmakers supported the film to spread global awareness of von Stauffenberg's plot. The filmmakers initially had difficulty setting up filming locations in Germany due to the controversy, but they were later given leeway to film in locations pertaining to the film's story, such as Berlin's historic Bendlerblock.

The film changed release dates several times, from as early as June 27, 2008 to as late as February 14, 2009. The changing calendar and poor response to United Artists's initial marketing campaign drew criticism about the studio's viability. After a positive test screening, Valkyrie's release in North America was ultimately changed to December 25, 2008. United Artists renewed its marketing campaign to reduce its focus on Cruise and to highlight Singer's credentials. The film has received mixed reviews in the United States. It opened commercially in Germany on January 22, 2009, where reports were mixed about the German reception of the film. When I first saw the movie poster, I KNEW that I was going to like the movie..One of my fave movie genres is situational comedy and Bride Wars had Kate Hudson (The daugther of my all-time comedian fave, Goldie Hawn), one of my fave comedians and Anne Hathaway, the pretty actress who shot thru stardom through 'The Devil Wears Prada).

The movie tells a story of two childhood friends, Kate and Anne (Couldn't remember the characters' names in the movie, LOL)..Kate is a successful career woman while Anne is sorta geeky, skinny teacher (Anne had apparently lost some weight in order to fit into the character in the movie) who always played second fiddle to Kate. But she was willing to do that for Kate.But she wasn't THAT willing to do favours for her bitchy fellow teacher:p

The friendship runs smoothly until the time they realize that they want the same thing: a wedding held at the PLAZA on June 6!!Apparently the venue is fully booked, but they got the booking through the professional aid of a very famous wedding consultant, Marion (Candice Bergen). Marion's assistant made a mistake (Consequently she got fired by the stern Marion) and had these two friends booked on the same wedding day at the same place!!

From then on, the two brides-to-be tried EVERYTHING to sabotage each other's wedding so that one of them would move her wedding to another date. Anne put a blue-dye on Kate's hair colorant at the hairdresser salon and Kate put an orrange colour on Anne's tan- mix!Those were just several examples of what these two girls do to each other in order to have their wedding at the Plaza on June 6!!

Nothing spectacular about the movie. things are pretty predictable, sitcom -the -hollywood -way, but some of the scenes are hillarious!!In general, the movie was fast-paced and there was never a dull moment left for the viewers...And of course it was fun to see these two different beauties competing against each other..I wonder if there were behind-the scene cat fights or real competition between these two attractive actresses..Kate is well-known as a comedy actress not unlike Drew barrymore and Anne is starting to go that way, too, through the Devil Wears Prada..

Well, I guess we'll just have to see who will win the REAL competition as the reigning gorgeous comedian then!!:p

YES MAN: VERY ENTERTAINING RIGHT TO THE VERY END!!

Gw baru aja ntn film Yes Man nya Jim Carrey..Carrey udah lama g main film lagi n gw pikir his last efforts udah g gitu bagus lg spt film2 terdahulunya spt the Mask etc

Wkt pertama kali liat muka Jim di film itu gw syok banget liat mukanya Jim yg udah dipenuhi keriput2 n gw wonder kenapa dia g have sum work done alias plastic surgery or minimal botox spt yg lazim dilakuin artis2 hollywood pada umumnya..

Tp downside yg satu ini lgsg terbayar ketika scene demi scene berlangsung n gw tau d kenapa dia g ngelakuin plastic surgery...Di film ini EKSPRESI dia keluar banget n dia emang best known for his plastic-like facial expression spt mulut yg dibetot2, kerutan di dahi dan mata yg membelalak..Ekspresi2 spt ini tentu akan terhambat klu dia inject botox ke mukanya..Spt yg dikeluhkan banyak sutradara kpd artis2 female hollywood.

Ide filmnya sederhana seh...TTg ssrg yg jadi apatis dlm menjalani hidup gara2 ditinggal pergi sm mantannya...He then always stays at home if not working, been fired from his last job..menduduki posisi yg itu2aja krn dia kurang bersemangat n always say no to opportunities around him, being all too caught up in his own world

Itu semua berlangsung sampai dia menghadiri "YES SEMINAR" di mana dia dibuat malu n dipaksa utk membuat covenant(Perjanjian) dgn dirinya sendiri utk always say YES to what people ask of him...

Hal ini berlangsung dari dia mulai sampai ke pelataran parkir seminar itu dimana ada seorang gembel yg minta dianter ke tujuan, pinjem hpnya sampe minta seluruh cash yg dibawanya hari itu..Yg akhirnya membuat dia hrs jalan kaki ke gas station terdekat krn dia udah kehabisan bensin n hpnya udah lowbatt gara2 dipake sm si gembel itu..

Tp spt gw udah nebak, GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE..Krn dia udah nolong si gembel itu, di gas station dia ktm sm calon kekasihnya yg cantik dan muda serta penuh semangat

Sejak itu dia mulai berubah...Dia say yes to people utk hal2 yg aneh2, contohnya menyetujui SEMUA loan proposal di tmtpnya kerja apapun alasannya termasuk menyetujui loan utk seorang perawat cowok yg diragukan kejantanannnya dan krnnya ingin meminjam uang utk membeli sebuah motor Ducatti, ngedate sm cewek Iran yg dia g suka sampe (ehm) d "BJ" sm nenek2 ompong..Ajaibnya, banyak hal2 positif yg terjadi kpdnya sejak dia begin to say yes to people..Spt. dpt cewek, dipromosiin, dpt banyak temen n hidupnya jd jauh lebih menarik dan berwarna

Memang seh pada akhirnya dia sadar bhw g semua yg dilakuin itu bener..Dia g mesti say YES to everything people ask of him...TP film ini sgt menghibur dari mula sampe akhir dan yg lebih penting: VERY MOTIVATING!!FIlm ini bikin semangat orang, membuat kita sadar bhw memang dgn membuka diri kita kepada kesempatan2 yg terbuka di sekitar kita, peluang2 emas akan terbuka..Dengan membuka diri kita kepada org2 di sekeliling kita dan berbuat baik kpd mrk, mrk akan membalas dgn kebaikan pula and all this will lead to a VERY FULL N SATISFYING LIFE!!..Pokoknya dpt good karma dsiapa yg menabur benih akan menuai hasil..In the nutshell: TWO THUMBS UP FOR YES MAN!!
