Tagged.com is a social networking site. It was co-founded by Harvard graduates and entrepreneurs Greg Tseng and Johann Schleier-Smith. Tagged.com was launched in October 2004 by Tagged Inc. and is privately owned. Tagged Inc. has raised $7 million in funding from Silicon Valley venture capital firm Mayfield Fund. The site initially targeted US high school students but has since opened to all users worldwide age 13 and older. The company reached profitability in early 2007.The site allows its users to build and customize profiles, send messages, leave comments, post bulletins, customize status, browse photos, watch videos, play games, give gifts, give tags, chat and make friends. Early innovations include the use of third-party widgets and YouTube as a part of the site’s graphical interface. Other partnerships include Slide, RockYou, PhotoBucket, Meebo], Razzand Jangl. As of July 2008, the site claims to have 70 million registered users. In late 2008, Tagged raised $5 million venture debt from Horizon Technology Finance and Leader Ventures.

In December 2008, Social Networking Watch reported that Tagged.com ranked 4th, 9th, and 19th by Hitwise, Neilsen, and Comscore respectively.

Tagged provides a feature whereby users are invited to provide it with their email username and password, and it will then check their email address books to see if their existing friends are already on Tagged. They then have the option of connecting with friends already on Tagged and repeatedly sending email invites to friends who are not yet on Tagged. This process has met some criticism in the technology press and from some users. WHAT IS VALENTINE'S DAY??

Valentines Day is widely acknowledged as a day for lovers to celebrate the romantic festival with full gaiety & passion. The festival was originated long back and since then, it has been celebrating religiously every year on 14th of February as a day to reckon with lovers. It is also a way to pay homage to the patron saint of love and lovers, St. Valentines, who was martyred on February 14 about 270 AD. St. Valentine was supposed to be the originator of this festival.

Origination of the Festival
There are many versions known about the origination of Valentines Day. According to a version, this festival of love owes its origin to the Romans in pagan times, which celebrated Feast of Lupercalia in mid-February. The entire globe seems to be painted red on this beautiful day. The celebration starts a day before the Feast of Lupercalia to observe a holiday to honor Juno - the Roman Goddess of Women and Marriage.

Many people think that 14th February was chosen for celebrating this romantic festival because of a popular belief in France and England. People believe that this is the season of bird mating.

According to another version, Valentines day is being celebrated to pay homage to the St. Valentine who lived in Rome during the reign of Emperor Claudius II. St. Valentine defied against the unjustified order of Claudius to ban all marriages and engagements. When Claudius came to know, he put Valentine behind bars and finally executed on 14th February, 270 AD.

Essence of Valentines Day
In the ancient times, lovers used to celebrate this festival by sending hand made cards. But the trend has changed now. The festival emerges as a day that celebrates love and not just romantic love. Now-a-days, Valentines Day cards are being gifted to parents, friends, siblings, teachers, etc. People express their love through the exchange of love gifts such as refreshing flowers, confectioneries, mementos to something even like love notes.

Going on dates has keep the essence of Valentines Day alive. The spirit of love and romance can be seen all around in parks, restaurants, malls and market complexes. Covered with various love symbols like roses, cupids, lovebirds, hearts, teddy, the market wears a festive look. Thus the commencement of February bring a feel of love and romance in the air.

TOO FEMININE - NEW HOT PERFUME BY ETIENNE AIGNER

Hi guys, wanna know the perfume I gave to my mom as her birthday present?It's noneother than the new, HOT perfume by Etienne Aigner. Aigner only releases a very few select scents to the USA,but she's very productive in Europe. Her newest scent is called Too Feminine.

Notes:
Top: Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Raspberry, Grapefruit

Mid: Indian Tuberose, Tunisian Orange Blossom, Egyptian Jasmine, Chinese Magnolia, Parma Violet

Base: Oak Moss, Vetiver, Iris, Sandalwood, Amber, Musk

It's a funny composition really. Without the top notes it would have been quite a different animal all together, and maybe better.

The top notes are fruity and sweet to the point of being candied. Which is ok if you want a syrupy sweet fruity concoction as a summer pick me up. But I sense here the perfumer was trying to be very serious. The middle notes and base could have stood on their own and made quite a wonderful scent. It's really an odd combination. The fragrance is top heavy and the mid notes never really develop. The base which is a light sandalwood/musk keeps this far from being considered a chypre. I have no idea where the Oak Moss and Vertiver went. Other missing ingredients seem to be tuberose, jasmine, iris and magnolia.


I love the fragrance, not that I would wear it, though 'coz it's a women's fragrance, as the name would suggest. It's a very good fragrance for women. Very candy sweet and pink. A girl wearing THIS perfume is sure to get a hot kiss on the neck by her lover!!:p
